This apartment is absolutely fabulous, the views are sensational and you are right in the heart of Plett.
The bedrooms are all great sizes and beautifully clean and well presented. The apartment had everything you can think of even providing bucket and spade for the beach.
Jon is amazing at coming back to any messages both ahead of your stay and throughout. The only thing to mention is that we stayed over Easter weekend and the noise from the bar opposite and parties going on meant it was quite noisy until the early hours - not the owners fault but just worth considering if you are staying over holidays when it is busy. Other than that, we couldn’t fault this apartment, we had a fabulous stay!

We had a great stay in Plettenberg Bay. The apartment has everything you need, from a well equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a nice terrace to a beautiful, quiet garden with a nice pool. The house is great and exactly matches the photos. In the beautiful outdoor area with the large covered terrace, you can make yourself comfortable both during the day and in the evening.
You can reach Plettenberg Bay, Robberg Nature Reserve and the beach within minutes. We felt very comfortable and would book the house again at any time.

The apartment was fantastic! We really enjoyed staying there and actually didn't want to leave. The apartment is very spacious and has many windows letting in the sunlight, the rooms are nicely furnished and well-designed. we wished we could've stayed another eight! Everything was perfect and exactly as described. The house was the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed in, very well equipped with everything you need, and the cherry on top: it is super beautiful and cozy. We spent nice days at the beach, which is just a two-minute walk away. We saw many whales and dolphins and enjoyed evenings with a braai and relaxing in front of the fireplace. Our kids loved the nature, and there were many activities to do in the area, from animal sanctuaries to whale watching to bungee jumping. Also, Plett offers some nice restaurants and supermarkets. But we definitely recommend dinner at Enrico restaurant in Keurboomstrand. Yael and Jon were excellent hosts. They were always available, very supportive, and had a lot of good recommendations for the area. We would love to co`me back.

We think that the place was fantastic. One comment though, winter is coming and although the weather was fairly warm outside, the property itself is too cool, especially at night. There definitely needs to be air-conditioning or other type of heating in the bedrooms. The fireplace in the entertainment area was fantastic and well used by us. Bear in mind that if you are vegetarian/ vegan in Plettenberg bay, your restaurant options are super limited, however the beauty of the place makes up for the compromise. Great place to stay, and definitely a place I would recommend. It's like a home away from home. Everything you need is there. Jonathan was friendly and helped us with the check-in. It's close to shops, restaurants and the beach. You won't be bored during loadshedding because both the TV and the internet still run along with a few lights. It's worth the stay.

The apartment has amazing views over the Bay and there are nearby walkable Restaurants by the beach. Well equipped and cosy but large enough for 8 people there are 3 bathrooms, comfy beds and nice hot showers and bathtub for a soak. Nice gardens and swimming pool (a bit cool in winter so we didn’t utilise it ) great for summer stays. The listing said no heating but there was a gas heater and plug in radiators available. Soap provided but no shampoo in bathrooms. .

Great location if you don’t want to drive to dinner. Right on Main Street in the middle of the hub and bub. Several good restaurants all in walking distance. Great view from master bedroom and living room - beautiful sunrises. Comfortable seating area on the deck. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. Shared Bathroom shower good pressure. Bathroom could use some updating as well as the carpets…. but this is minor. Bonus had secured parking although a little tight. Master bath tub only …. as it didn’t have a shower curtain. Lovely having a washer and dryer. Jonathan was very responsive.

We loved this apartment so much. Bigger than expected. Walk to the beach. In a quiet area. We felt safe and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Cozy beds and sofa’s. A amazing grocery store near by called Kwik Spar that had everything we needed :) Plett is so lovely.

I had a great stay and Jonathan was very helpful and responsive. The flat is big and you have the benefit of the entrance being on the Main Street but the flat itself isn’t and has the sea view. The back up Wi-Fi and lights for load shedding was perfect. I was provided with basic cleaning liquids and powders, tea,coffee, salt and pepper which was handy. Beach towels too for the summer months.

This is a lovely, spacious, well kept home with a pretty garden and great socialising areas in and outside the house. The covered patio with glass sliding doors is a particularly nice place to be and we spent most of our time there. The house is in one of the best parts of Plettenberg Bay- peaceful, very close to the beach, and also close to good shops. We would definitely stay here again

We had a nice stay at Yael and Jonathan’s. The house was very cosy and matched the description. Although the pictures did not capture the full spectacular views. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The clubhouse also offered us some table tennis and pool which was just a nice breather after a long day. The estate is located a minute from the N2 highway so it was easily accessible. Jo communicated very easily and gave instructions clearly.

What a great spot. Beautiful surroundings and very practical unit for our family of 6. We especially liked that the unit had a lovely hedge around the garden. It made the unit feel more private and kept our 2 year old from getting to the waters edge. The two pools close by kept the kids very happy. Our hosts went the extra mile for us. A very secure and spacious apartment, centrally located with great views from the balcony that is open on two sides. Well equipped with thoughtful touches such as rechargeable and portable lights for use during load shedding and ‘always on’ internet connection. The kitchen was well equipped but the units were a little old with stiff drawers and cupboard doors that opened the wrong way but these are minor issues. The main bathroom worked really well but the saloon-like doors on the en-suite didn’t close properly and were really annoying. All in all a good apartment in a good spot and ideal for a week or so in beautiful Plettenberg Bay

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. It is perfect for families as it has a big garden and a great pool. The kitchen is super large and had super good amenities. Toaster, air fryer, large side by side fridge , Nespresso coffee machine and much more. Overall, the house is very spacious, bright, has large wardrobes, lockable garage, comfortable beds. The TV is large and there is a large Bluetooth box. For families with more than 2 people or even older guests, I would recommend more pool loungers and more comfortable seating. There is no normal chair with back support in the whole house (only bar stools and seating benches on the terrace). We got a lounger and beach chair from Jon. Jonathan looked after us superbly the whole time (2 weeks), was very reliable and helped immediately whenever there was anything. Jon is a great host and highly recommended.

I was in contact with Jonathan who is a very accommodating and helpful host. The apartment was easily accessible through communication with Jonathan. On top of that the apartment looked just as the pictures, so we got what we paid for and honestly our moneys worth. It is very safe as the apartment is in an estate with security, perfect for a family holiday with little kids as there are activities and amenities in the estate like a pool and mini golf. The amenities within the apartment are bounteous as well. Jonathan was very responsive and quick with any problem we had. The apartment is central and a quick drive to the nearest beaches, restaurants and shops. The stay and the host was easy breezy we were comfortable, it was peaceful. Will definitely be back!

This place feels like home. The villa is equipped with everything you will ever need. Extremely clean and comfortable. The pool area is welcoming, even when the weather was bad we enjoyed a nice breakfast outside. An amazing and wonderful place to stay. The close proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants served as the perfect location. A lovely spot! This is a great apartment , a stone's throw from cafes, bars, shops etc yet tucked away in a peaceful spot well away from the road. The place is really nice and the photos didn't lie. It is a walking distance to the beach, and you can take morning walks to the beach. A little piece of heaven in Plettenberg Bay. Skye’s treehouse is truly magical - beautiful bohemian decor with attention to detail, with a view to die for and STUNNING sunsets over the mountain. A spacious renovated home in Plett. Excellent communication from Jonathan makes check in easy. Jonathan was extremely helpful, quick to respond and will resolve any issues ASAP. The internet was down in Plett when we arrived and Jonathan went out of his way by providing a dongle so as to ensure we were not inconvenienced. The house however lacked amenities and some comforts. For example there is no mirror with a plug nearby for women to use. The entertainment area although spacious and well designed lacked some chairs and comforts. This being said, the space is large and clean. Will work nicely for a small family and being pet friendly the large enclosed garden is great.

The apartment was stunning, just like on the pics. Yael communicated from the beginning and we had a smooth and quick check in and check out. We travelled with two small kids and lot of luggage. Yael was kind enough to assist. The apartment is perfectly/centrally located close to supermarket/main road with shops/restaurants. It has a stunning view of the lagoon and the ocean. Very comfortable and safe. I wish we would have had more time to stay there. I will definitely be back and will recommend the place.

We enjoyed the stay! The view is really great. The photos correspond to the actual condition of the AIRbnbs. We had lots of space with our kids. We also found parking in a locked area helpful. The apartment is located, which has already been written many times, on the main street and you can only reach the apartment hall on the first floor (this is outdoors) through several grids with code. It is already noisy in the evening due to the proximity to bars and restaurants, of course, especially on the weekends, but you are also in the middle of it. Jon was always available for "difficulties" and took care of the remedy immediately.

The house has everything you could possibly need for longer stays, and the whole place was spotless. Just note that only the master bedroom has air conditioning, but only has a bath en suite. This wasn’t a problem for us. Overall, highly recommended!

We were a large family party & The Meadows was the perfect place to get together. Plenty of space, a lovely garden & large pool which our grandchildren practically lived in. The location is beautifully quiet with great views over the estuary. We’d thoroughly recommend this house to visitors who are looking to be just outside Plettenberg Bay, but within very easy access of the town.

The house is very spacious with many bedrooms and bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen making it perfect for a family or group of friends. the lawn overlooking the Beacon isle is perfect for sunbathing , braaing , sundowners etc. Communication was great and we were well looked after by our hosts,

If you’re one that appreciates attention to detail, you will love it here. The apartment is very clean and welcoming, located right next to all amenities. Lovely views from main bedroom and lounge, I was on a working vacation so i spent a considerable amount of time on the balcony just soaking in the views. Jon is super responsive and went all out to ensure we were comfortable. (Thanks, Jon!) Just a heads up if you’re an early / light sleeper, there seems to be a club right across the road. Didn’t bother me much though 😊

Jonathan was there when we needed a place to stay after not being able to get into our other accommodation. Check-in was a pleasure. The place is gorgeously situated and spacious so a family can be together but still have their own privacy. All you need in a house is available for your stay and it is so centrally situated so you can walk to the shops and central and Robberg beach within a few minutes. The bird life was great and the estate very peaceful and beautifully maintained. All in all, a lovely peaceful sanctuary.

Where to begin. We traveled as a family with young kids and I am always worried about the cold. The house was homely and warm even without the underfloor heating on. Kitchen could not be more well equipped we had everything we didn't know we needed! Comfortable, clean and very spacious. Such a great experience right from the start!
The location is just perfect, was able to walk to shops, coffee shops and restaurants along Main Street.
The views were breathtaking to say the least and we were lucky to spot quite a few dolphins swimming by.

What an absolutely great place to stay. My wife and I stayed at Skye's place for 3nights. It was the perfect retreat for a quiet weekend. Her place has such a great energy (it must be all those beautiful rose quartz she has around the place). It does get cold in the night but the fireplace was perfect to warm up to. The location was also great, it was close to the main town centre, beaches, restaurants. The place is completely private aswell. Skye was an excellent host. We would definitely come back again.

A fantastic beach-holiday house.
Lots of spaces to hang out (like 2 lounge areas), fully kitted out in every way, and multiple bathrooms with showers are awesome. Location is perfect for beachgoers - literally 3 minutes walk to one of the best beach destinations in South Africa.
Another positive is that it's 2 blocks away from a fabulous little shopping centre, with a Spar which has its own coffee shop and liquor outlet.

This apartment is in a perfect location. The entrance is along main road (which means walking distance) to coffee shops and restaurants. The balcony presents perfect sea views and one can watch the sunrise too. Speaking of the balcony, it is very spacious and perfect for relaxing. The internet was sufficiently fast for video calls and the amenities were as expected. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other 2 bedrooms has 2 single beds each, not a deal breaker but perhaps the photos of the other rooms can be included on the listing to avoid ambiguity.
What could have been better? The bathrooms and drainage could do with some improvement.
Overall great, the host communicated well and timeously.

Conveniently located near the entrance to the Riverclub near the Tennis courts and swimming pool and a few minutes walk to the River front.
The unit is spacious with stylish furnishings and the patio leads out onto a private pool for all the residents in the complex.

Located in a secure complex right on the rivers edge and in walking distance to the beach and shopping center.
The complex has a very well maintained pool area with deck chairs and umbrellas. The house is well stocked with bath and beach towels and has everything you need for self catering as well as a Weber and also a braai / BBQ.
Good internet connection and DSTV. A Nespresso machine would be a nice touch!

We had an absolutely incredible stay and will definitely return to Plett Grace in the future.
The is stunning, the location is perfect and Jon and Yael were excellent hosts. The house has everything you need - beautifully appointed bedrooms, comfortable and stylish lounge and outside areas, sparkling pool and a fully kitted kitchen (including a walk-in fridge).
It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to the shops.

We liked staying at Gipps View! It is situated in a quiet and safe area, with nice views. The house is huge with lots of space, many lounges, an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and we were even provided with a travel cot and high chair for our baby (thanks again, Jon!). Jon is a great host, easy and quick in communication. The only slight downturn was a lot of ants, so we put all our food in the fridge and you must not leave a single bit of food waste lying around. But Jon reacted instantly and provided us with some ant traps which worked out pretty well. All in all, we can recommend this place and would come back :-)

Price / performance was right, the host responded well to the criticism of the pollution of curtains and carpets.

First of all: the house is great. It has an amazing terasse with a wonderful view. You even see the ocean from the bedroom. Singing birds will wake you up in the morning.
Just great. The flat and especially the kitchen is equipped with everything you can imagine. From toys for the kids to a deep fryer (didn’t use that so i have no idea if it works). Our kids (3y and 9m) loved the place cause there are so many things to explore in the flat.
Jon is a great host. He took care of us so much with every little or bigger topic we had. I would say we never had such a carrying host before and being unobtrusive at the same time. Thank you.
The house is located central. You are close in walking distance to the town with it’s nice Cafés but also fast at the nice beaches and restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay and recommend the place.

We stayed at Jon and Yaels place in Jan 2020. When reviewing airbnb's I normally state the good points and bad points to give a fair review and help other travellers.
However I couldn't think of any bad points whatsoever about this accommodation. It was superb. We arrived earlier than expected and after a quick text to Jon and Yael to say we had arrived they were there within a minute or so to greet us. Fabulous customer service. Both of them were very generous with their time and had lots of good tips for Plett. The house itself was fantastic, very clean with beautiful gardens. The communal pool was 100m away and the beach was 300m. Both great. The pool setting was lovely with views over the river and the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was extraordinary. The extra touches in the bedrooms, air con, crispy cotton sheets, soft carpets, outside shower, outdoor barbecue, ice machine, coffee machine but to crown it we had a full size walk in fridge! Five minutes walk to a beautiful beach, quiet, private street, in fact it was so nice being in the courtyard and pool area we just stayed there for a day! Beautiful board walks around the property through wetlands and close walk to the Robberg. Amazing value - we just wished we had stayed longer. Yael was an outstanding host and helped us get to plan some fun trips, see the sights and choose restaurants.
Our biggest mistake was that we did not stay for longer but we will be back!!

Our short stay at Gipps View was wonderful! The living areas are so spacious and the patio with its magical view is the perfect place to spend the afternoon! The kitchen is really well equipped and has everything you could possibly need! There were even games for the kids to enjoy.

We discovered a gem! No description can do justice to this tasteful home which far exceeded our holiday expectations! Yael and Jon gave us a friendly welcome and showed us around the property. Our family of six loved having the beach just around the corner with no need for a car except to stock the cold room with groceries. I enjoyed cooking in the amazing kitchen and Helen was a very helpful and friendly housekeeper who did our laundry and gave us a real rest. All 4 of the en-suite bedrooms were luxurious, the air conditioners were an added bonus and the courtyard was a sheltered haven when wind picked up. We’ll definitely be back, next time with our extended family, as this house can sleep 20 people. Great value for money!

Amazing property in such a great location with fab views. The estate that this property is located on has a great little pool overlooking the river and only 50 steps away from the house. Hosts are very attentive and only a call away if you need anything. Top floor a little warm at times so if you like a cool night then grab the downstairs rooms. Great outside space and fully equipped house for a great holiday.

Yael's house is beautiful and the room accomodated me and my wife very well. Jon, her husband, received us very well and gave a lot of recommendations on what to do in town. Plettenberg is with no doubt one of the best places in South Africa.
Two days was not enough to see its wonders. And having a good stay with friendly hosts made the trip perfect. In the room, the hosts also left a booklet with information on tours, things to do and see, markets, restaurants, everything. It was very helpful.

What an incredibly awesome spot to stay at. The unit is positioned right next to the little pond/dam with stackaway doors leading from The braai area to a peaceful and calm grassed area on the bank.
A tranquil swimming pool overlooking a river and a view of the Beacon Isle. The unit itself has an excellent equipped kitchen. Three bathrooms ensuring privacy for all guests. A cupboard full of games to play while the indoor fire is lit and sipping a glass of wine.

I highly recommend this place. Great location, spacious home with a stunning outlook, and also just really well set-up - lots of attention to little details that made all the difference like plug adaptors, inverter, well-equipped kitchen, beach/swimming towels, beach umbrella - and so much more.
